Chemical Peels

Intense Pulsed Light Therapy ("IPL")
IPL is a new technology that is redefining medical aesthetics. It works by emitting pulses of intense lamplight. The IPL system is similar to laser, but with a larger, more diffuse beam of light so treatments are safer, more effective, faster and more comfortable than laser treatments.
Age Spots and/or Sun Spots
During treatment, pulses of concentrated light are absorbed by the melanin (dark colour) heating up the pigment causing it to break up.
After treatments, spots will darken slightly and will naturally shed from the skin after approximately ten days. This treatment will also lighten
birthmarks and moles and reduce the visibility of scars.

Permanent Hair Reduction
During this treatment, the light of the IPL is absorbed by the colour in the active hair follicle and converted to heat. The heat disables the
cells responsible for growing hair. Follow-up treatments are recommended to treat the hair follicles that were inactive during the first treatment.
